Rocky / Rico New Pup!

Yesterday Isaac and I went to the Bradshaw shelter to look for a new dog to bring into our family.  It didn't take long to find "Rocky" a 3 year old neutered male German Shepherd. We were thrilled! 12/10/16

Yanca did very well on initial introductions as they both love to play.

June 5, 2016 - So sad to say goodbye...

She had multiple system failures.   Hips, kidneys, anemic, lungs, pneumonia.  She fought hard for the past 6 months and did well.  But the last few weeks just became too much.  She was almost 12 years old.

It was so hard to say goodbye. Our Layla was such a great friend and companion! We knew that she wasn't well but then discovered she had esophageal cancer.  The masses were taking over her throat and leaving her weak and uncomfortable.

Adoption of a new pet is always exciting! Especially when it's the perfect pet and the perfect addition to the family.  Last week we spent some time at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter and found our Yanca. She's a spayed 10 month old Anatolian Shepard and super sweet.  After about an hour or so of getting aquainted we decided to make her part of our family and bring her home. 12/21/15
