Alma Rosa Rodriguez Tenorio 11/12/18

Alma Rosa was a childhood friend of mine since the day she was born which was just two weeks after I was born.  We grew up on Southcliff Avenue in South San Francisco, California.

Through the years we enjoyed many great times together as kids do.  We began walking to school together during kindergarten but soon after she attended school in San Francisco and I continued in South City. As neighbors we continued to see each other often, her with her strong Central American family and and me with my Irish-German American family.

Although we didn't get to see each other as often later in life we always kept in touch.  She was a beautiful soul and very kind.  She loved her children so much and was fond of people in general.

Thank you Alma for all the great and wonderful memories growing in life together.  You will be missed and never forgotten.

Tom Gray 11/13/18

Tom was a great friend with a fierce sense of humor that left us all in life far too soon.

We met Tom and John years ago (2004 ish) through mutual friends and we established a solid friendship right there and then.

He was diagnosed last year with pulmonary disease and we knew then that we may not have a great deal of time left to enjoy this wonderful friendship.

We enjoyed many fun times together over the years rather it be watching movies, sharing a meal, cruising on the California coastline, a getaway to Monterrey, or visiting great California towns, it was always with a laugh, a smile and lots of love.

Tom and John were partners in life and together for over 44 years.

Thank you Tom, for all the great times we spent together and all the wonderful memories we now have.  We'll keep taking care of John as he takes care of us.  After all, its about helping each other in life.  The greatest thing in all the world is just to love and be loved in return.  Thanks for loving us Tom.  We love you.

Lady Bird Walking Tour

Joan took me on a great walk through many the sites that were seen in the film Lady Bird.

We started the walking tour at 55th street and Folsom and made our way all the way to McKinley Park. She packed a great wonderful lunch for us and then we headed back to complete a six mile tour. This was tour one of 2. Looking forward to tour 2!
