It was so hard to say goodbye. Our Layla was such a great friend and companion! We knew that she wasn't well but then discovered she had esophageal cancer.  The masses were taking over her throat and leaving her weak and uncomfortable.

Visit to Half Moon Bay

Today (28 Dec 15) I showed off the beautiful plant nursery of Rocket Farms where Tara works.  We toured and bought plants and had lunch with Isaac's mom, Argelia and Santiago. Paul and Johnny drove over the hill from South  City and joined us.

Family Birthday Sister Edith

Another great year celebrating family!  Each year a special dessert bread is purchased containing 3 baby Jesus'.  I think this is my third time where when cutting my piece it had the little baby Jesus! The only string attached is that whoever get the baby Jesus is supposed to make homemade Tamales for the family in the month of January.  It looks like i better get busy!
